Following the success of the first "EuroCloud Awards" competition in 2011,  the EuroCloud Luxembourg association invites all the Luxembourgish companies active in the field of cloud computing and SaaS to participate at the 2nd edition of the "EuroCloud Awards". As part of the partnership with ITnation, the awards ceremony will take place during the "Golden-i 2012" event, on May 10th 2012.
Amal Choury,  Chairwoman of EuroCloud Luxembourg, explains "the large participation and interest of companies in the 2011 awards event, as well as the quality of projected submitted, has motivated our board to renew this unique competition in 2012".

The winners of the EuroCloud Luxembourg awards will have the possibility, again this year, to participate at the European competition organized by the EuroCloud network, which gathers the winners from all the national competitions. EuroCloud Luxembourg is particularly proud since in 2011 the Luxembourgish company ebrc managed to win the European trophy “Best Use Case Public Sector”. This confirms the goal of the EuroCloud Luxembourg competition to become the main platform for companies operating in the field of cloud computing technologies and SaaS, always striving for better visibility and reputation, both in Luxembourg and throughout Europe.

This year, all the winners from the national competitions throughout Europe will be presented during the European congress organized by EuroCloud and taking place on October 8/9 2012 in Luxembourg.

The European trophies will also be delivered on that occasion in the following four different categories:

Best Start Up, Best Cloud Service Product, Best Case Study Example of Cloud Services for the Private Sector, and Best Case Study Example of Cloud Services for Public Sector.
