The capital has been named the safest city in an international quality of life ranking of 50 worldwide cities produced by consulting firm Mercer. The index looks at internal stability, crime levels, law enforcement effectiveness and the country’s international relations.
This index has been released alongside Mercer’s quality of life ranking in which Luxembourg scored 19th, with Vienna topping the ranking for the second year running.
