The Directorate of Foreign Trade advises the Minister of the Economy and Foreign Trade on questions of trade promotion policy and aims to provide Luxembourg companies, large or small, with a range of quality services to foster their international activities. Specifically, the Directorate is involved in the organisation of trade fairs & missions to foreign markets, provides advice on export strategies and also supervises the distribution of financial incentives to exporters. Furthermore, the Ministry’s network of Luxembourg Trade & Investment Offices abroad provides localised market intelligence and practical help to Luxembourg companies wishing to do business locally or to foreign companies wanting to enter into partnerships with Luxembourg.

The Chamber of Crafts is a public constituted institution and is one of six professional chambers for employers and employees in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The Chamber of Crafts' missions centers on safeguarding and defending the interests of businesses in the trade and crafts sector, participating in the legislative procedure, securing the membership of businesses in the trade and crafts sector as well as organising training. Generally, the Chamber of Crafts offers help and advice to industry sectors and individuals in areas concerning creation and communication, business management (finance, tax, social security, exports) innovation, the transfer of technologies, and ecology.

The Office du Ducroire is the one stop shop for exports and aims to promote Luxembourg goods and services through various financial instruments such as for example credit insurance. COPEL, Ducroire's sub-committee, further engages in financial support for promotional material, brochure translations, trade fairs, seminars, conferences, advertising costs, export training and consultancy services.

SNCI is a bank specialising in medium and long-term financing of investments made by Luxembourg based companies. SNCI's financing instruments are investments in fixed assets, innovations and exports. SNCI also grants start-up loans to SMEs and finances investments of Luxembourg companies abroad.

Since 1 January 2008, the two privileged Community networks of the Euro Info Centres (EIC) and Innovation Relay Centres (IRC) have been merged by the European Commission into one single and common European network of excellence with the aim of providing high quality business support services and assisting companies within a European and international context. Created with the aim of providing companies with information and assistance about EU topics, the main role of the Enterprise Europe Network is to focus on providing information, support and assistance to Luxembourg business in the framework of the European integration process as well as helping them to better understand the opportunities and challenges of an enlarged European Market.
“Enterprise Europe Network” Luxembourg is operated by the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Crafts and Luxinnovation.
