Three companies were awarded FEDIL’s Environment Prize for products judged to fulfil the criteria of ecology, innovation, practical production and economy. In the big companies category, first prize went to tyre producer Goodyear S.A. for its CO2 emission reducing EfficientGrip Tire Technology. In the medium-sized company category, oven manufacturer HEIN for its energy-saving “HEIN LR Greenproved EcoStone” project. Elco S.A. received a jury prize for its “LED Retrofit for public illumination” project, which saves public administrations  money as well as saving energy.
